We invite you to the Melody Edens Salon PopUp shop event, December 3, at the salon in Monte Vista, San Antonio to show support for our San Antonio Philharmonic orchestra and its musicians. Talk about history! A professional orchestra in San Antonio goes back to 1939 when the renowned San Antonio Symphony was founded. SA Phil exemplifies determination as they move forward to preserve world-class music in San Antonio after the San Antonio Symphony management ceased operations in June, 2022. With their formation of the San Antonio Philharmonic, we all have an historic opportunity to re-invent what an orchestra in the 21st century can be. One that reflects the spirit of our time and place. Melody Edens Salon invites all to take part and feel the pride of supporting the continuation of a professional San Antonio orchestra. San Antonio Philharmonic also is actively engaging the community, collaborating with artistic and educational institutions, mining ideas and developing programs. Student performances are high on SA Phil’s list — music has the power to open minds and spirits for life.
Fun will begin at 10am and continue through 2pm. Our neighboring restaurant, Barbaro, will be featuring the “Melody” drink and making a donation to SA Phil for each drink sold during their Saturday brunch on December 3rd. The great news is the drink will be packaged “to go” so you won’t have to miss any of the fun across the street at Melody Edens Salon. Drawings for Melody Edens Salon products and Gift Cards, SA Philharmonic Gift Cards and Concert Tickets will be happening that day. You will definitely want to be present! Join us Saturday, December 3, for holiday shopping fun, community support, and prizes.
