Grace Elmer

Hair Stylist
American Board of Certified Haircolorist (ABCH)

As an accomplished hair colorist at Melody Edens Salon who specializes in creating beautiful blondes, Grace is the first to admit that while blondes might have more fun, ‘healthy’ blondes have the ultimate fashion fun!

Since 2014, Grace has become perhaps best known among her many clients for custom-creating cuts plus fabulous shades and tones of blonde that reflect fashion trends as well as individual lifestyles. Her philosophy of ‘healthy hair’ is re-created daily through her edgy cuts and rich color tones that are full of amazing body and shine. Grace is dedicated to preserving the integrity of the hair for her clients and shares that ‘hair has to feel like hair …beautiful and healthy with texture and lasting sheen’.

Beyond her intuitive sense of style is the pure ‘skill’ required in total hair design. It’s the kind of solid and sophisticated technical skills that have most recently earned Grace prestigious national credentials like the American Board of Certified Haircolorist (ABCH) recognition. Grace and all her team members distinguish their salon from all others in San Antonio by being American Board Certified, the gold standard among professional stylists and colorists. Grace shared that only 50% of all colorists in the country who try for the respected ABCH certification actually earn these credentials.

Grace’s community outreach also includes her ongoing fundraising and styling efforts for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC)’/San Diego Chapter on behalf of the Melody Edens salon team.

Grace’s ongoing education as a working professional has most recently earned her other certifications in areas such as Blow Drying (from Blo Pro), Hair Smoothing (from Keratin Complex), Men’s Haircutting (from American Crew), American Wave and Cutting (with Nick Arrojo for Armstrong McCall) and New Talent Hair Color Training (Wella Professional). She is also skilled in the use of the salon’s own signature hair care/styling products and ‘ME’ cosmetics for her clients.

A graduate of Ogle School of Hair, Skin and Nails, Grace was voted and served as a Success Team member and was also a Finalist in the Wella Face Off 2014 runway hair competition.
